What Is GoldPesa Option (GPO)?
The GoldPesa Option Token (GPO) is an exotic call option with a moving strike price. Each GPO token represents an option to purchase 1 newly minted GPX token or 1 newly minted BTCg token at spot price + 1%.

What Is GoldPesa (GPX) and GoldPesa Bitcoin (BTCg)?
The GPX and BTCg tokens have been designed to act as hybrid tokens, initially minted and sold at spot market price + 1%. Hybrid tokens are generally pegged to other assets or currencies. They are collateralised and float in price with an expected premium, due to the earnings aspect of the GPX and BTCg token.
1 GPX is ultimately backed by 1 gram of physical gold and 1 BTCg is backed by 0.001 Bitcoin (BTC).
GPX tokens are directly backed by Paxos Gold (â€œPAXGâ€) and BTCg tokens are directly backed by wrapped Bitcoin (â€œwBTCâ€) tokens which are stored in decentralised smart contracts.
This ensures users that their underlying digital assets (PAXG/wBTC) are secured in a decentralised and trustless manner on the blockchain and that no central body, authority, government or even GoldPesa has access to GoldPesa token holders' underlying digital assets.

How Can A Gold-Backed Token Trade At A Premium?
GoldPesa invests 50% of all fees in a brokerage account managed by the PAWN, a proprietary and highly intelligent trading algorithm.
Profits generated by the PAWN are used to buy back and then burn GPX and BTCg tokens from the market, which rewards token holders by creating demand and reducing supply at the same time.
This model effectively creates earnings on an asset class (gold/Bitcoin) that generally does not have any earnings and as a result gives the token an intrinsic value. Based on traditional finance, by creating earnings, we can expect the market to trade GPX and BTCg at some multiple of the earnings and therefore will result in GPX and BTCg being traded at a premium depending on the performance of the Pawn, our proprietary and highly intelligent trading algorithm.
It's important to note that GPX and BTCg token holder's gold and Bitcoin remain unencumbered at all times as we risk our own fees/capital for the benefit of token holders, resulting in tokens which have the characteristics of a DeFi asset-backed structured product.
As GPX and BTCg begin to trade at a premium, the intrinsic value of the GoldPesa Option token (GPO) will also increase naturally as it would be correlated to the premium of GPX and BTCg.

GPX and BTCg Token Minting:
GoldPesa Option (GPO) holders have the ability to exercise their option and purchase newly minted GPX/BTCg tokens by wrapping their Paxos Gold token (PAXG) / Wrapped Bitcoin token (wBTC) along with the GoldPesa Option token (GPO) together into a smart contract which will custodian the token holders underlying asset (PAXG/wBTC) in a secure, trustless and decentralised manner while simultaneously burning the GPO tokens and removing them from circulation.
The smart contract automatically mints new GPX/BTCg tokens and delivers them to the token holder's wallet for a 1% fee.
GPX and BTCg Secondary Market Once minted, GPX and BTCg tokens will be available on a number of decentralised and centralised exchanges where investors can purchase these tokens in the secondary market at an expected premium depending on the performance of the PAWN, our proprietary intelligent trading algorithm.

How many GPO tokens are there in circulation?
GPO launched on the Ethereum MainNet on Oct 12, 2021 with a hard cap of 100 million GPO tokens created at genesis. GPO also has a wallet hard cap of 100,000 GPO per wallet.
